Gary has a wide ranging taste in music - from classical to rock 'n' roll - although he can't quite find any pleasure in rap or hip-hop!
He left Poole Grammar School and took a year out before going to university - and is still working at the same firm 24 years later. During this time, however, he studied part time for his degree and then again to pursue a legal path. He loves the thrill of learning and studying new things.
Outside of work and study, Gary enjoys watching certain TV programmes - such as the Vicar of Dibley and The West Wing - as well as reading lots of different types of books. His favourite authors include Patricia Cornwell, Quintin Jardine and Gervase Phinn.
Gary is married to Sally and together they have two boys - Joshua and Oliver. He is the Chair of Governors at his sons' school and the Treasurer to the School PTFA.
