Mary spent her working life in the NHS - nursing, medical secretary
and assistant medical social worker.
She has three children and five
grandchildren who keep her busy and up to date with music – however they despair
of her technophobia.
She lived in Singapore and Hong Kong as a Navy wife but
loves Bournemouth and Dorset best which are her roots.
Her main hobbies apart from HRB (which combines her love of working
with patients, music and talking!) are creative writing, playing guitar and
singing, and being chorus fodder with the Bournemouth Gilbert and Sullivan
With any luck her book on Navy life will be out on the internet soon –
but under a pseudonym so she can’t be sued.
She loves the companionship and interest she has found with HRB
which has given her a new lease of life.
