Adrian became an HRB volunteer in 2009 and loves every minute of his involvement. He organises our request collecting across both hospitals and presents the Sunday Request Show which helps to put a smile on the patients faces.
Mary co-presents, conducts on air interviews and writes for radio. Previously a nurse and navy wife she has three children and five grandchildren. She is an author, plays guitar and sings in public. Her published books include, ‘Green Smarties’, ‘Tales of a Navy Wife’, ‘The Stealth Virus Conspiracy’ a Medical/Thriller mystery based on truth, and ‘The Nellie and Sybil Sagas’.
Terry re-joined HRB in 2013 having previously been a volunteer between 1982 and '92. He really values his regular visits to the wards to cheer up the patients. Terry has recently retired and in the past has volunteered as a paramedic, for search and rescue and as a Police Special. He currently co-presents our Sunday Request Show and is also ETA emergency crew with St. John’s Ambulance
